值此蔚•木兰中国成立五周年之际，我代表全球蔚•木兰姐妹表示祝贺！
尽管Covid-19影响了我们的生活和工作，但蔚•木兰并没有受到影响，继续通过各国家和地区分会在全球范围内向前迈进。在过去的一年里，我们新增了12个成员国，将全球足迹扩大到31个国家，举办了多次有价值的网络研讨会，成立了蔚•木兰赋能建设中心(WCBC)，并出版了首期《变革之翼》——全球蔚•木兰新闻通讯。我们共同努力表明，挑战不是一个大问题，特别是在新技术被接受的情况下。
我很高兴看到蔚•木兰中国分会自2016年成立以来的快速发展。最近推出的微信平台是蔚•木兰中国分会适应新常态的一个很好的例子，通过鼓舞人心的故事和知识分享来促进蔚•木兰的发展，吸引和留住行业中的女性专业人士。我也对蔚•木兰中国分会对蔚•木兰赋能建设中心开展的赋能建设项目的兴趣感到鼓舞，我们将根据中国分会的需要开展专门的项目。我们必须共同制定和执行创新战略，以促进我们行业的多样性价值。

Message From Global WiLAT Chairperson
It gives me great pleasure to pen this message on the occasion of WiLAT China’s 5th anniversary celebration. As you celebrate 5 years in action we all are living in a pandemic time. Although Covid-19 impacted our lives and livelihoods, we in WiLAT were not deterred and continued our march forward globally and through our regional and country network. In the past one-year, we were able to add 12 new countries and expanded our global foot print to 31 countries, conducted many value adding webinars, launched the WiLAT Capacity Building Center (WCBC) and published the inaugural edition of the “Wings of Change” Global WiLAT news letter. Working together we are showing that challenges are not a big issue, especially with new technologies are being embraced.
I am delighted to see the rapid growth in WiLAT China since the formation in 2016. The WeChat platform that was launched recently is a great example of how WiLAT China has adapted to the new normal to promote WiLAT through inspirational stories and knowledge sharing to attract and retain female professionals to the industry. I am also encouraged by the interest from WiLAT China for the capacity building programs conducted by WiLAT Capacity Building Centre and we will be conducting special programs to suit your needs. Together we must craft and execute innovative strategies to promote the value of diversity in our industry.
The pandemic has made us rethink the way we do things and we are engaging more frequently than ever before now. Lets hope that we could come out of this and meet each other soon. Wishing you all the best on your 5th anniversary. Stay safe and well. Thank you!
